Good fucking God.... especially the last quote admitting what has been done to the actual fucking players here, who ALWAYS need to come first

George O’Leary.I'm not even trying to be funny... when is the last time a coaching hire went so sideways? I can't remember.
If we could get rid of Bill for cheap right now, it would make this so much less bad. We took a gamble and it didn’t work out. But we showed that we are willing to dedicate big funds to football and Kenan was rocking for exactly 15 minutes.Mike Price was hired to coach Alabama and never made game 1 bc of strip club nonsense...
But yeah, if only we were that lucky here and BB never even made game 1
Definitely agree that it is extraordinarily highly preferable to get out of this relatively financially unscathed. But I think that UNC being such a fiasco in the leadership department right now, coupled with how publicly humiliating this whole scam of an experiment has been since day one essentially, is going to cause us some problems in our next coaching search, whenever that may be. We are also likely going to be competing with Florida, Auburn, and Arkansas at the very least on the coaching search market. If we could get rid of Bill for cheap right now, it would make this so much less bad. Getting out relatively unscathed from this experience would be so much better than six years of Bunting or three years of Torbush.
No idea. But if we're gonna do it a bye week is the time to do it.How quickly could you get an interim coach and staff in place assuming you get rid of Belichick? I can't imagine any of his staff would stick around
I see great minds think alike! How quickly could you get an interim coach and staff in place assuming you get rid of Belichick? I can't imagine any of his staff would stick around
I would imagine there is far too much financially on the line for UNC to just shut the season down but obviously we would probably get completely smoked every single game the rest of the way because I’m sure we would have lots of players quit. But the vast majority of the coaches on our staff, as sorry as they are, don’t have the luxury of being multi decamillionaires like Bill and will need to audition for their next jobs.If BB gets fired or leaves in the next few weeks, do we shut down the program for the rest of the year? I doubt any of the coaches stay, right?

I'm pretty sure the ACC would not let UNC just forfeit the rest of the seasonI would imagine there is far too much financially on the line for UNC to just shut the season down but obviously we would probably get completely smoked every single game the rest of the way because I’m sure we would have lots of players quit. There have definitely been plenty of absurd situations over the years with coaching tenures crashing and burning out of the gate (one of the things that makes college football so awesome lol), but this one has to be up there as one of the most memorable ever. It’s honestly impressive how badly this one has gone lol.I'm not even trying to be funny... when is the last time a coaching hire went so sideways? I can't remember.
It sounds like most of them already are working to find a landing spot.I would imagine there is far too much financially on the line for UNC to just shut the season down but obviously we would probably get completely smoked every single game the rest of the way because I’m sure we would have lots of players quit. do not even mention thisIt sounds like most of them already are working to find a landing spot.
Maybe bring back Mack 3.0, for the redemption tour?
