UNC ONLY BASKETBALL 2024-25 SEASON

Not to put too much stock in Lunardi, but he has us firmly on the bubble as the first team out. Wake is the last team in.
We are just ahead of SMU who he lists as the “third team out”.

So just in our conference we need to root for whomever is playing those 2 teams - aside from winning out ourselves.

Also, Georgia is a bubble team, just got a huge boost with a Q1 W beating 3rd ranked Fla. This could possibly help them leap frog both us and SMU, and maybe Wake…

We are also battling Arkansas, Nebraska and Oklahoma as they are listed just ahead of Wake in the last 4 in group on the bubble.

The UNC Women's Basketball Team plays dook tonight at Cameron at 7p.

The Heels are going for the sweep of dook on the season and a win would help solidify Carolina's seeding in the ACCT and NCAAT.

It's a big game and I really hope we win. GO HEELS!!!

Looks like Ustby and Kelly are both out. Unlikely we will win in Durham being that shorthanded.
 
We lost two starters for the game. Arguably our two best
Could not overcome that
 
Yeah, we were doing well until there was about 2 minutes left in the 3rd and then it all fell apart.

Hopefully we get Kelly and Ustby back soon and start rolling again. It was a rough loss, but hard to take too much from it due to the injuries.

Watched the game — things completely unraveled at the end of the third as you say, but we started the half with two straight turnovers and dug ourselves a hole. Looked like the team ran out of gas as playing without two starters who usually provide about 1/3 of our scoring …
 
State beats Pitt to keep their ACC Tourney hopes alive, only to see them dashed when Notre Dame beat Stanford by two later tonight. I'm well aware that we have our own problems, but watching State lose and have their hopes dashed always feels good, no matter how well or poorly we're doing.
