Love the great comeback and the fight the team showed - we learned that they're certainly competitors - but they're going to have to work on end-of-game situations. And I am tired of losing to Kansas. Seriously, have we beaten them even once since Roy returned to UNC?

Yeah, Withers and Washington taking 3s at the end isn't the best option.
 
Loved the fight, but dang, why does the wrong guy always take the shot. Withers last year and then our only 7 footer is outside the 3 point line and throws up a shoot? I just don't get it.

No. I think our last win against them was with Doherty in some "pre-season" thing around 2001 or so.

But the team looked good. They're going to have to figure out how to play small. I think they will. Our guard play will be best in the nation. You can win with that. Golden State has shown it. But, we'll see how things come together.

Yeah, you need to know your personnel in those situations.
 
Hubert's legacy so far is not being able to finish close games with the lead.
Last year we were up 1 with the ball with less than a minute and lost.
Tonight, up again and lost.
Against Kansas in Finals, we were up 20 at half and lost.

That's coaching.

Well, the defense isn’t going to make it easy for you best players to get looks. Washington is very capable of knocking that down.

And way more than a moral victory. The integration/development of Cade Tyson is going to be critical. He has talent. He might be limited against ACC competition, but if HD can find ways to utilize him in spot duty and give others a few minutes of rest it could be huge.

We were up 15 at the half in the Finals, not 20.

Agreed, but our seven footer should be outside the 3 point line crowding it anymore.
