James Brown is gonna be pretty good, and so is Zayden High. Manek was great. Garcia, Nance, and Tyson were all highly regarded targets that for one reason or another didn't pan out (jury is still out on Tyson, I guess). Jackson would have been killer.

I think part of the problem with recruiting elite bigs lately is that they knew they'd have to come in and apprentice behind Armando for a year or more. That must have made it tough to recruit new 5's.

I honestly don't know why we didn't have post players banging down our doors this year. All the ones we offered passed on us, even the mediocre ones. I'd think the opportunity to catch passes from Cadeau would have been lucrative, but I suspect there was just a whole lot of money being passed around under the table in a game we didn't want to or weren't ready to play.
 
We werent outbid for a center. Davis just couldn't seal the deal.
Just a matter of time before Davis will be fired

Well, he has some. GG Jackson, Jalen Washington, Will Shaver, Zayden High, and James Brown. But Jackson was the only elite big of the bunch. And Washington was the only other top-30 player (at the time he was recruited) of the bunch. And of course he had Bacot here. Also got Manek, Nance, Ingram, and Withers out other portal during that time.

Bigs for the other teams just have to wait at the rim for the guards to drive because they don't have to worry about guarding Carolina's bigs.
 
This team is completely lost. They don’t look like they have any kind of plan or identity whatsoever.
