I'd like to see them stick with the 2 big lineup with Withers starting at the 4 and Drake at the 3 for the remainder of the season

It took too long to get to it in the first place. Too much worrying about trying to get all the guards a bunch of mins
I agree with this, but as the saying goes it looks a lot better when the ball goes in the hoop - and it's been going in the hoop lately for Withers. If he can continue to hit the open three and not take too many YOLO shots then we're better with him on the floor at the four.

Even if it doesn't, he provides positional size and rebounding that no one else does and allows Drake to do the same at the 3
It does seem like the better lineup on balance. Withers is playing more within himself and so less dumb shit, but I don’t really expect that to last. But he’s athletic and long and playing hard.

Yea, I agree.

The other lineups just haven't worked as our default.

We have to start JWit at the 4 and just live with whatever happens. He just allows everybody else to play their natural positions, and he's the only one who can do that.

Yep. Been screaming this from the rooftops here for quite some time. Not only does it give a better matchup on the defensive end, but it's the best lineup for what HD/staff continue to try to run. Should be RJ, Ian, Drake, JWit, JWash/VAL, playing Cadeau and RJ together very sparingly.

I agree. I think they do better with RJ running the point. Cadeau might not like it, but he should be coming off the bench to back up RJ. I would start RJ, Jackson, Powell, Withers and Lubin. Bring Cadeau, Trimble and Washington off the bench. I think it makes the offense and defense more balanced.

I like that lineup and it should be played but Trimble and Jackson off the bench. Instant offense and defense

Can't believe we're still talking about bringing a true point guard who also happens to be foul prone (and has started for 95% of his career) off the bench

EC's mins will sort themselves out as they always do. But you have to see what you're getting from him early

I agree.
I know it's not a popular opinion on here, given many folks chalk the poor play up to the players, but I still think this team can be good. They have a lot of talent on this roster.

I agree...he's such an incredible talent. But his weaknesses, TO's and not being a threat from deep, are just Achilles' Heels for our offense.

I hope he gets a handle on the TO's and can start making a couple 3's a game...damn he'd be so good, & so fun to watch.

Elliot is shooting it better from 3 on the season than Trimble (who seems to convince folks he can shoot from time to time). Teams aren't leaving him wide open like they were a year ago

He really needs add a pull up mid range and floater. Doesn't even look for it currently

Just message board blather but I'll be surprised if Elliot returns to Carolina next year. Hubert still does the arm sweeping go faster motion every time he walks it up. He's making bad fouls and silly turnovers late in his sophomore year (quite a lot of both). His body language ain't great.
