I dunno if I can watch this. Walz looks nervous AF and he hasn’t answered the question yet.
MSNBC talked about how he told Harris in the entrance interview that he was terrible at debating, and apparently has been reminding people he said that this week. Not a good sign of his confidence level.

Vance dodges entirely and pivots immediately to an intro bio. WTF?

Kamala started off a little shaky too. It's a big moment. Walz will settle down, he was fine on that opening salvo, just nerves..

Vance seems nervous and eventually says it is up to Israel whether to do a preemptive strike.

Meanwhile, Walz recalls his Iran talking points for rebuttal.

Walz should take the opportunity to ask if Vance knows how the VP job works the next time JD says "the administration of Kamala Harris."

Did JD do coke before the start? Talking a mile a minute.

Vance tiptoeing around climate change, trying to make it about drill baby drill (?)

I don't think Walz is all that compelling of a speaker in this setting but his answers are pretty damn good so far, IMO.

We’re producing more and drilling more than we ever have.

Walz says this as I’m typing

Vance and Walz are actually both off to a strong start, IMO. Both of them are better at this than their running mates.
