Man alive, I'll tell ya. If this is the stuff these people obsess over when we are living in one of the greatest times of economic prosperity in the history of our country, low crime, and relative worldwide peace, you've got to wonder what they're going to become transfixed by when the shit actually hits the fan one day.Remember…these are the problems “real” flag waving Americans are worried about.
Totally agree. But giving that as the response to my question reads very similarly to the same type of non-answer response Democrats give when they get asked where in a pregnancy they draw the line on elective abortions.
“It rarely happens, so what’s the big deal” isn’t good enough. A lot of really bad stuff is rare.
Agree with the general theme of this post but have a quibble that makes the message even more powerful, imo. I would wager that the majority of the population (even MAGAs) has encountered a transgender person at some point in their lives... and they didn't even notice. As you said, the transgender community has zero impact on the vast majority of Americans and it's abhorrent that bigotry toward this population is a key plank of the Republican party platform. I guess it makes effective fear porn for those afraid of their own shadows though. What I’m saying is that almost every person who is applauding this at a Trump rally has never even seen a transgender person. It is an irrelevant aspect of life for the vast majority of the population yet MAGA treats it like it’s the most important issue facing our country today. You are being manipulated.
Not having the same issue. What is the last post you see prior to your post?Is someone spraying spittle all over this thread? Or is the thread broke? I keep seeing a bolded title but few new posts.
In 2008, I voted early because between the start of early voting and election day, I was undergoing an operation that had a 10-day survival rate that not nearly as high as I would have liked. I was really bummed when I found out that the election folks actually check to determine if early voters survived until election day. But I did survive, and on Election night my brother and I stayed up until around 4 am, despite the election have been called for Obama earlier. We were staying up to see in Obama would carry NC. HE DID!I vote early simply because it would really suck if something happened to me on or shortly before Election Day and I couldn’t vote because of it.
Do you have anyone on super ignore? If you do and there are posts by that person or posts replying to that person, the thread title will show bold but you won't be able to see any new posts. Nor will the thread title go back to normal after you visit the thread because you aren't seeing the post(s) that cause it to be bold.Is someone spraying spittle all over this thread? Or is the thread broke? I keep seeing a bolded title but few new posts.
So glad you survived, my friend. In 2008, I voted early because between the start of early voting and election day, I was undergoing an operation that had a 10-day survival rate that not nearly as high as I would have liked. I’d say they’ve seen trans people…..they just don’t know they’ve seen a trans person. What I’m saying is that almost every person who is applauding this at a Trump rally has never even seen a transgender person. If the US made voting easy by making the Election Day a national holiday, I’d love voting on that day. But of course we do not, because….??? ….too many of the wrong people might actually vote. So I prefer to vote early in person.I think it's fun to vote on election day when all of the attention is on the election and you feel like you're part of a bigger event.
But it's also a pain to make a random Tuesday work and so I vote early nearly every time.
Some States do-I know West By God Virginia doesIf the US made voting easy by making the Election Day a national holiday, I’d love voting on that day. But of course we do not, because….??? ….too many of the wrong people might actually vote. So I prefer to vote early in person.
Oh they've seen them, they see them in the porn they watch.I’d say they’ve seen trans people…..they just don’t know they’ve seen a trans person.
Yep. As I’ve mentioned before, I was anti-Trump in 2016, but can give folks a pass for getting duped once. It’s anyone since about 6 months after he took office who still supports him (or doesn’t like him but clutches their pearls and still votes for him) who I have no respect for.Give Trump credit for one thing. He figured out early on that the entire Republican party, and every single one of its voters, are a bunch of submissive beta cucks who relish being lied to and assumed to be easy marks. He exploited it masterfully.
Same here. Perfectly stated. I was one of the moronic idiots who voted for him in 2016. Six months into his time in office was Charlottesville. Permanently lost me then.Yep.
