Not to me, or at least not that much. Rasmussen has, in the last couple of cycles, been a little bit less of a GOP shill in the past. I think the bad press endangered the business -- if a pollster can't be relied on, what good is he? I think he's probably still favorable to the GOP but it's not like what it was.

Meanwhile, could Kamala's lead be 5 or 7 or 8? I think so. Momentum like this takes a little while to fully seep into poll numbers. I've been predicting (loosely -- there's little methodology here) that her poll numbers would steadily rising up to the DNC. I've thought they could peak at +10 or +11, though that might be a little high. Possible, though.

It does put the Michigan +12 number reported earlier on this thread or another one in better perspective. That's probably a little on the high side, but I could believe Michigan +8

I've been going to the masters for 40 years and could count on 2 hands the number of fairway eagles I have witnessed.

I could see him topping two consecutive drives into the fairway, but making two consecutive pars ? I doubt it
 
(truly terrible that my first post is one somewhat defending Trump) The above claim is clearly wrong, but from Bryson's recent youtube video of Trump, he does have an effective swing for an out of shape 78 year old. I'm sure he cheats his way around the course, and can't putt worth a damn, but can seemingly hit the ball pretty well (but is a complete dumpster fire of a person).

But that is just 100% Trump. He cannot bear to be simply "good" at something. He must make up lies that show him as being "the best" at it. Which means pretty much everything he says about himself has to be a lie by definition... as nobody is "the best" at many things... and he's clearly not the best at anything except maybe lying.

I’d have to see uninterrupted video of Trump on that hole……

Trump is the Mulligan King. I doubt the shot we saw is his first attempt from that spot.

The likeliest realistic video of Trump golfing is the one in which he shanks a bad slice and two guys on a ridge above him caught it on a phone.

David Plouffe, Stephanie Cutter and Mitch Stewart are joining the effort.

"... David Plouffe, a top strategist on both of Obama’s presidential campaigns, joins Harris as senior adviser for strategy and the states focused on winning the electoral college. Stephanie Cutter, the deputy campaign manager for Obama’s reelection who has been working in recent months with Harris, is the new senior adviser for strategy messaging. Mitch Stewart, a grass-roots organizing strategist behind both Obama wins, will become the senior adviser for battleground states.
