The Russia hoax.
Special counsel Robert Mueller’s team indicted or got guilty pleas from 34 people andthree companies during their lengthy investigation. That group is composed of six former Trump advisers, 26 Russian nationals, three Russiancompanies, one California man, and one London-based lawyer. Seven of these people(including five of the six former Trump advisers) have pleaded guilty.

Can you elaborate? You're not referring to the fact that there are just people ignored and those that are responding to them also being ignored?

It's when either an ignored person or someone who quotes them is at the top of a new page, it warps you back to page 1.

It also leads to moments of bold, unread threads not going unbold until someone else posts or doesn't quote

Not the end of the world. Better than seeing HYas clear indignation for non WASP folks

Yes. I've noticed this as well. Particularly when the ignored poster is apparently massively spamming the thread

Pro-Trump group funded by Musk struggles with outreach targets

“… The political action committee funded by billionaire Elon Musk to help re-elect former U.S. President Donald Trump is struggling in some swing states to meet doorknocking goals and is investigating claims that some canvassers lied about the number of voters they have contacted, according to people involved in the group's efforts.

… Three other people familiar with the outreach told Reuters that Chris Young, a Musk aide and longtime Republican operative, had recently traveled to Nevada to audit whether doorknocking tallies there had been inflated by some of the workers hired by contractors. Another person briefed on the matter said America PAC was struggling to find sufficient people to conduct audits in other states.

Despite the influx of cash, some of America PAC's outreach has been plagued by disarray, the people familiar with its efforts told Reuters. As with many campaign operations, the group has hired contractors to carry out grass-roots efforts, relying on hourly workers to knock on doors and speak face-to-face with potential voters.

Some of those workers have been difficult to retain. Three canvassers, who asked not to be identified, told Reuters the work isn't worth the pay, starting at some contractors at as low as $20 per hour. In some cases, they added, canvassers drive long distances in remote areas and don't get reimbursed for gasoline. …”

Obviously both Trump and Clinton ceded power and the world kept turning. But neither one handled the loss the way you’d hope a politician would in a POTUS race. Both of them sowed significant doubt in our election security on the way out.

Point remains, whichever side loses the election in 2024 will raise hell and blame everything except their party’s unwillingness to meet voters where they are.
More bullshit

There are a lot of reasons I’m very optimistic about Kamala’s chances, but this one is just about the top of the list.

So the man that many people years ago hailed as a visionary business genius has turned out to be an incredibly arrogant, spoiled, bigoted right-wing goofy boob who is incompetent in many ways. Maybe he's a perfect fit for Trump after all.

Well, we'll see. It's not clear just how much a ground game helps. Can it erase two tenths of a percent in a poll? Probably. Can it make up for two points? Highly doubtful.

Given a choice between ground game and a systemic polling error, I'd much rather have the latter.

A good ground game can make polling "errors" happen
Of course, though it's hard to quantify.

I just had a door knocker a few minutes ago. There is a certain effectiveness to it. I'm what you would call a very likely voter (and I've never voted for a Pub in my life), but there's a non-zero chance I skip voting. Maybe I will be feeling crappy on election day, or there will be long lines, or whatever. But now I've told these guys, "you don't have to worry about me, I'm as solid as they come" and shit, if I don't vote, I will feel like I let those guys down. So the probability of me voting increased. Maybe only from 98% to 99%, but it's something. And if I was more like 85%, I could see it lifting me to 95%.
