I'm glad that so far there have been no reports of major election disruption efforts. Couple uncredible bomb threats in ATL suburbs that were dealt with; a few random wackos here or there; but nothing widespread or, at least so far. Still a couple hours to go in the east coast battlegrounds, and more than that elsewhere.

Two precincts extended voting due to bomb threats.

Elon Musk isn't going to be ended by this election. His continuing participation in politics might.

I'd add Stephen Miller to that list.
I also think it might be naive to say this election ends Trump. He still has a lot of power within the Republican money machine, and even if he does not run again, it is possible he will retain kingmaker status for the next election. If Jan 6 could not bury him, it is not clear that being a perpetual election loser would either.

How about being bankrupt? Lots of court cases to be settled after the election and some are states that want some of him bad. Paid loyalties don't wear well.

Especially if he 40% of the country thinks the election was stolen.

Unless I misunderstood, CNN just reported exit polling data that said that 20% of the voters decided who they were going to vote for In September or October.

Maybe cnn could sneak Mark Robinson in as a panelist.
CNN: Sir, what makes you an undecided voter?

MR: Well, the Republicans want to ban porn, but I’m also a black Nazi who’d like a return to slavery.

CNN
Not to mention if they did tax unrealized gains, it’d be the single dumbest tax policy in the history of the United States.
200% tariffs
If nothing else, this election season has absolutely confirmed my belief that 2016 was a far more traumatic event for many liberals than is usually known. Even Biden winning in 2020 didn't fully erase it. Hopefully if Kamala wins this year it may finally start putting some of the trauma to rest for good.
It won’t be erased until Trump is dead and buried on his golf course.
