My niece is in the Navy and works on a nuclear sub. She is getting a lot of accolades (just got another text from my brother, and it made me think of this thread).
130 people on the sub (according to my father, anyway) and she’s the best of the lot. But her Commander in Chief would call her a DEI hire. Screw that guy (who my brother ironically voted for).
Many here without knowing her would reflexively agree with Trump about her being a DEI hire if God forbid something ever happened to her sub.

Still no further update on NOTAM. It is really easy to suspect that the DOGE seizure of government websites went awry here (although as noted above the system went down once before) but we may never know.

It takes time and bandwidth to transfer all the government data to offshore servers.

I will never be surprised, but will continually feel shock, that people CHOOSE to have their accounts raided, services gutted, communities hollowed, jobs offshored, and have poison rain from the sky and dumped into their water, over accepting the existence of certain kinds of people they will likely never encounter, and if they do the encounter(s) will have zero material effect on them.

Critical FAA warning system restored after outage​
