Ok Patch Adams is my best. But any of the last 24 Paper Hand Puppets shows at the Forest Theater should always get honorable mentions. If you haven't been/seen this year go.

Locations. Although the story takes place in upstate colonial New York, filming was done mostly in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Locations used include Lake James, Chimney Rock Park and The Biltmore

I merged the Chapel Hill thread. Seemed like we could contain it to one thread. Let me know if I'm wrong. 😅

There is a huge difference in movies filmed in North Carolina and films, documentaries, and footage OF a specific place in NC, especially a place that we all hold particularly special like Chapel Hill.

Anyone seen George Washington? Supposedly that’s a good movie. Filmed in Winston-Salem.

Others:

The Abyss

Black Rainbow

Talladega Nights

Days of Thunder

Shallow Hal

Bad Grandpa

Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain

Juwanna Mann

King King Lives

The Foot Fist Way
