I didn't listen to the presser. I think we're talking around one another. As for the topic that this thread has settled into...I'm still pondering.
I see, and you’re probably right 😂.
If you have time, give it a listen and let me know what your thoughts on it are.

If Carolina scored 2 more points, the conversation would be vastly different. I think people are overreacting.
Exactly my point on the previous page, which took half a page to write. You did it in 2 short sentences.

However, the game that makes all of this conversation relevant was the Stanford game. At home. Wake had just beaten them by 13, but we lost to them.

Losing to Wake on the road isn’t that bad and was actually to be expected. It was a toss up game and wound up being a “push” in betting circles.

The loss to Stanford was not expected and a total disappointment. Those expressing frustration with the team/coach in regards to the Wake game are misplacing their thoughts. But hammering Coach for the Stanford game is totally justified.

You’ve been down on UNC hoops for over a decade now, CF. You’ve been proven wrong over and over again and yet you keep coming back with same takes.

The CBB landscape of your youth is gone forever. Let it go.
Well, things changed, so we should just be happy with where UNC basketball is now while other programs find ways to be consistently successful.

Apparently, we have players who light it up in practice.
Can't believe I don't remember this, but who was the Carolina player everyone said (to the point of it becoming a meme) hit 3's in practice all the time (but very rarely in actual games)? Was it Orlando Melendez? Maybe it was always a joke about him hitting 3's in practice...

Maybe from a few folks. Many others would still see the glaring deficiencies in the team/staff.

You don’t have to be happy about anything but just know it’s not going back to how it used to be.

Other than UConn and Kansas there aren’t many programs that are consistently outperforming UNC over the past 5-10 years.

Winning the game is the purpose of the pursuit.

We know this isn’t a great team so worrying too much about them not being elite is a waste of energy but winning some of these one possession games and piling up some W’s would still be satisfying to most fans.

How are you defining outperforming?
