I am finding myself turning off our games. It started last year and never ever before then. No one will watch games with me, no one. Just my messed up emotions. My TV is in fear for its life.
I agree. The Heels are a tough watch this year.

Maybe so. I’m okay with it. Not agreeing with the average UNC fan takes is not necessarily a bad thing. They tend to have tunnel vision.
I think you tend to be wearing Carolina blue glasses instead of seeing things how they truly are.

I am an eternal optimist who holds out hope longer than most.

In this case if you’re going to fire a person like Hubert Davis you better have fool proof plan in place.

He was ACC CoY and the Heels won the conference last season. The media is not going to be kind if he’s let go a season removed from that.

I don’t watch the game last night. Was just too tired. Was there any redeeming aspects for the Heels?

Missing 2 tournaments in 3 years would trump winning the ACC regular season last year.

Can one of you smart psychologist types tell if the guys are having fun playing together? Could there be a burr under the saddle? I am not good at detecting that sort of thing but, I have seen similar results from known disjointed teams.

Not sure if anyone listened to his presser last night. If you did, it should be clear that he's just ready yet for UNC basketball. (And this is taking into account that he'd have been pretty upset after the game.)

I love to play arm chair body language doctor when it comes to sports lol. This team gives me the same vibe as the ‘23 team: when things start going poorly or it gets late in a close game, they start to look lost/scared and have a tendency to just roll over and lose.

I don’t know that it’s one specific thing that’s a “burr under the saddle” necessarily (there was speculation about girl drama between RJ and Caleb a few years ago, but I have no clue if that was actually true or not). I think it’s more that as the losses start to pile up, it gets harder and harder for the team to collectively regain confidence.

That’s lack of leadership. It’s nice when that comes organically from team leaders, but when it doesn’t that leadership has to come from the coaches.

But hey, at least he makes sure they play the clean versions of their music in the locker room and punishes the whole team if someone utters a profanity in practice.
