They use inmates for some wildland roles. The inmates volunteer for the program and it is pretty selective. If selected, in return for their service they get paid (if you can call it that) and can get time off of their sentences.

I’m thinking the Presidency of J.D. Vance will be worse.
With Trump there is the prospect and likelihood of a battle between TechBroligarchs and Trump and MAGA.
With President Vance there will be no doubt that the TechBroligarchs are running 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
No doubt that noon on 1/20/2029 can’t get here soon enough.
