Tournament seeding presents interesting scenarios. A 3-seed is a big advantage over a 4-seed, but in some ways a 6-seed is better than a 5- or even 4-seed. The 4 and 5 are on the same side of the bracket as the 1-seed, whereas the 6 and 3 avoid the 1 until the championship game, with the possibility that the 1 can be upset along the way. The 5 and 6 get an extra opportunity for a decent win to help their resumé (but an extra chance to be upset). (The period goes outside of the parentheses, but inside quotation marks???)
ETA: ncsux losing is always a good thing.
