I think it's pretty likely that if Duke and UNC end up in different conferences, games aren't happening between the two. More of a Texas/A&M situation and less Georgia/GT

App down 28 to 0 to South Alabama with 1:00 to go in the half in Boone. Fans are really going to be calling for Clark to be gone after this.

This result puts Clemson's win over App in more perspective.

App appears to be really bad if South Alabama can beat them this soundly.

As the lone Kansas fan here, we have quite the interesting situation brewing.

This football season was pegged by online fans as the most important in our schools history because we currently have a stadium demolition going on. It's happening in two phases and there's a chance we don't have enough money to finish the second phase and that chance becomes greater if apathy were to happen because our program sucked.

That didn't seem to be a concern because our program was supposed to be great this year with more than a few thinking we had a chance at a CFP berth. Unfortunately, our fringe Heisman candidate of two years ago quarterback who was out all of last year with a back injury has been dreadful. We also decided to hire Jeff Grimes, the offensive coordinator most recently from Baylor, who has gone 2-15 against FBS opponents recently. Our head coach is getting more criticism than he's probably ever experience. Possibly warranted given our 1-2, likely 1-3 start, and his recent pay bump to over 7 million a year.

All that to say, it sucks when you get a little taste of greatness and then it's taken away from you so quickly.

Kansas really doesn't have any choice but to finish the stadium. The conference realignment happens in 2030 and basketball only schools like Gonzaga and UConn are going to be in for a world of hurt in the new NIL landscape. Unless football completely breaks away from basketball, there is the risk that Kansas football could seriously hurt Kansas basketball. I would think that Kansas will secure additional debt financing to finish the stadium and go into a Cal or Maryland debt situation -- as opposed to being left with a half-built football stadium.

If you are on X (note - not in any way an endorsement), check out #calgorithm for a look at Cal fans poking fun at FSU. The feed alone makes the Bears the best conference addition ever...

So come on guys
No posts about JMU scoring 70 on UNC I am blaming Lee roberts LOL

Wait, that was a football game? I was assuming it was one of those preseason, charity basketball games where the coach was giving the walk-on, non-scholarship players some playing time so the regulars wouldn't get hurt in a meaningless game.

Well, I got banned again on IC. Not sure if it was my retorts to multiple Tar Pitter neanderthal hillbillies on the game thread comparing Mack Brown to Biden.

Or maybe it was calling out the crappy IC reporting saying Brown resigned, when all he said to his team was "I would resign if it would help this team."

The funny thing is, I checked my mail to see if there was an explanation, and all I saw was a couple of warnings from SnoopRob from months ago. Been so long since I have been over there.

I got banned from some mod on the basketball board and he banned me from the whole site, not just the basketball board. And I never got a warning or explanation why I was banned.

I thought they weren't going to allow any political posts on IC after the IC ZZLP was shut down. No surprise that it's not exactly true, or that the violators of such a rule are IC conservatives.
