i feel the same way about mack that i did about biden post debate. Mack is just far too selfish to step asideOh man. I had totally forgotten the 4th down kneel down at midfield. I am now triggered.

Similar to the 2015 UofSC game in Charlotte. At the end of the game E. Hood is gashing the Chickens' defense at 15 to 20 yards per carry. We get to the 10 and suddenly Fedora starts having MW throw in the end zone where he threw the inevitable interception to end the game.still mad at Bongo for not giving Brooks the ball at State. Up 9 at State, cold November. Inside 2 minutes in forth. Again, up 9. First and goal, Brooks had 124 yards rushing and we never ran it. Not once. Didn't give him the ball. Rednecks scored 2 TDs to win. Will never forgive Bongo. Hope he fails at Whisky.
They moved the kick off to 9:00 PM.
Totally reasonable. If that big giant Minnesota offensive line pushes our front seven around, it’s going to be a long night for the guys in blue. I’m counting on their brand new quarterback having never taken a snap at the FBS level, much less the P4 level, not being able to have a significant impact.MN 31 UNC 17
Hope I’m wrong but I til I see us have a P5 defense, a decent offensive line and a passable QB, count me as skeptical…
Yep. Could be like 2009, my freshman year, when we had the best defense in the country and an offense that was…well, far from that. To be fair, we were rocked by injuries on the offensive line for the first half of the season. But that 16–3 loss to a terrible, terrible Virginia team in Chapel Hill is probably the worst of the Butch era. It wasn’t even as close as the final score might indicate. Once we got healthy later in the season, we did have a pair of really good wins- at Virginia Tech on a Thursday night when winning in Blacksburg on a Thursday night was actually a massive deal, and Miami at home. But if we even had the 2010 offense paired with the 2009 defense, much less some of the truly astronomically explosive UNC offenses of the last decade, we have won 10 or 11 games that year.Yeah, I think our offense is going to struggle a lot more than most fans think. It would be so on brand for us to finally have a good defense but the offense to be subpar.
Can't wait to see those on campus games!College Football Playoff Announces 2024-25 Kick Times and Broadcast Schedule for 2024-25 Playoff on ESPN and TNT Sports - College Football Playoff

The “mad scientist” was part of the problem as well. Can’t say I miss him dialing up tight end reverses with Pianolto.Yep. Haha yeah, I think Coach Shoop ran that one big reverse to Brandon Tate coming out of a timeout against Miami where their defense spent the whole timeout dancing on the field, that went for a 70 yard TD, and we never saw the end of him trying the reverses. The worst one was my freshman year when we lost to State by 1 point. We ran a reverse to, I believe, Greg Little and lost like 11 yards on 3rd down and it knocked us essentially out of Casey Barth's FG range. State blocked the FG and won by 1.The “mad scientist” was part of the problem as well. Can’t say I miss him dialing up tight end reverses with Pianolto.
Please tell me it was from under center and the tight end touched the ball…lolHaha yeah, I think Coach Shoop ran that one big reverse to Brandon Tate coming out of a timeout against Miami where their defense spent the whole timeout dancing on the field, that went for a 70 yard TD, and we never saw the end of him trying the reverses. We never got to run it in a game, but Coach Shoop had a hilarious trick play that we used to practice during the 'gadget plays' practice period on Thursdays of game week. I always hoped that it would make an appearance in a game but it never did. The closest we got to running it was on the last play of the game at home against Miami in 2011 when we were down 6 points and at the Miami 40-something yard line (so out of FG range) with like 3 seconds left on the clock. It was called "Dick 'em Dick 'em 79 Missile X" and it was the craziest thing you ever saw: it was essentially a double reverse flea flicker, but I'm not even doing it justice with the description because, like, no less than 5 different players touched the ball on the play. It was wild.
Okay quick update during the lightening delay I figured I would run to the liquor store and listen with some vodka. Got home and hooked up my OTA antenna and woolaa the only thing new is that which is forgotten! Rabbit ears still working!Hope my old self figured it out. I'm waiting through something called preview pass for the last 5 minutes! I checked myself because I still may get to watch!
