T/V campaign needs to be congratulated for the following:

T/V had the biggest, broad based electoral college win for a R since GHWB in ‘88.
Assembled an impressive, working class coalition across races and religions.
Improved his numbers in 90% of the US counties
Handily won the popular vote.

As Jonathan Turley noted, this is the largest, most impressive jury verdict in world history.

If Trump won in 2020, he would’ve had a Democrat House and Senate

More impeachments, no Senate confirmations, no bills passed, and possibly the end of the MAGA movement as an effective political force

But now?

He has the House, Senate, Supreme Court, a popular vote mandate, and an entire country that wants to clean up our elections, close our borders, deport illegals, and hold corrupt politicians accountable

Sometimes I think it had to happen this way

You lost me at holding corrupt politicans accountable. Trump is as corrupt as they come. He fired people in the DOJ for investigating his administration. He ignored the emoluments clause that every other president has followed and used government spending to funnel money into his own businesses - most obviously by having the large security team stay exclusively at Trump properties and working out sweetheart deals with foreign politicians/leader for people like Ivanka and Jared.

Trump even admitted to corruption in his past when he admitted to paying off politicians. Somehow MAGA took that as an honorable thing because it takes a corrupt person to weed out corruption.

Trump only wants to weed out corruption when that is directed towards his political opponents. The talk about fighting corruption is just political red meat for his base and to distract from his own decades of corruption.

Most reasonable people knew about Trump's corruption going back long before he had any serious political power and before he even identified as a Republican. How you miss all of this just astonishes me.

But, hey, you reap what you sow. We'll now have unrestrained corruption.

Enjoy the win. We will see how things play out over the next year.

I've always questioned the catch phrase.

What wasn't great, that has to be changed back? I can't recall a period in my life time that I would rather be living in more than the present.

Plus it just seems so regressionairy. Like the platform is to take us back to the 50's.

What was better in the 50's?
 
When the illegals are rounded up...
1. Who is doing the work they were doing?
2. Where are you taking them? Are we just doing non-stop planes to the Congo, since that is now where he says they come from (cause dark skin and all)?

Wait, since he won are you still claiming the election was rigged and there is massive voter fraud?

Both of which are a lie as there has never been any proof of either.

You know, if I didn't need the economy to stay strong, I'd love to see trump implement his 100% tariffs, deport 15 million people, fire 74% of government workers, and implement his isolationist policies, so that everyone that supported them could fully understand what they would cause.

Maybe he can start holding the corrupt politicians accountable by not allowing fellons to run for federal office.
