We may be in agreement in that we're now in the era of yellow journalism where all media sources are biased with a distinct point of view. The legacy media over the last decades thoroughly destroyed the era of Cronkite and objective journalism. No one thinks the legacy media is objective.

I (and almost all on the right) consider all of legacy media to be left wing:

NYT, Wash Post, CBS, NBC, ABC, NPR, AP, Axios, Politico, Reuters, etc.

We have Fox, OAN, Newsmax and some random podcasters.
Politico? You have no fucking idea what you are talking about. Politico carries conservatives' water and has for a dozen years.

What you have provided is a list of news organizations, and then another list of bullshit peddler. Anyone who reports FACTS, you deem biased. Fox News literally makes shit up on the air. How many news organizations have, in the history of this country, ever had to pay close to a billion dollar SETTLEMENT for malicious defamation?

Guys like Terry Moran, and other mainstream reporters, are afforded the privilege of hosting Presidential debates when, in reality, they are left wing activists. They should be open about their biases like the Fox hosts.

I'm sorry, are you taking the side of Dukie Stephen Miller -- one of the most hateful and horrible Americans we've seen in fifty years, a true psychopath -- over a respected journalist?

Here's the quote: "Miller is a man who is richly endowed with the capacity for hatred. He's a world class hater. You can see this just by looking at him because you can see that his hatreds are his spiritual nourishment. He eats his hate."

That seems 100% true. Are you seriously debating whether Stephen Miller -- a man who ran for high school president on the program of firing the school's Asian housekeeping staff -- is a world-class hater? What exactly did Moran say that is so horribly biased.

You know your head has been completely fucked when you are taking the side of the worst Dukie in the world.
I’ve never mentioned Stephen Miller nor stated my support for him. This is about crazed, TDS left wing bias.

That's who Terry Moran was criticizing. He said Miller is a world-class hater. Is that a true statement or not? If you say it's true, then you're saying Moran should be fired for telling the truth. If you say it's not, then you're siding with Miller.

Once again we get to see the not-at-all epic battle of Ramrouser v. Logic

And OAN makes fox look centrist.

Oh, so like Mike Johnson said, the bias and corruption are ok as long as it's transparent.

Wonder why the little twerp Mike Johnson isn't transparent about his porn addiction?

But corruption and bias are corruption and bias, it's bad even if out in the open.

Fox's defense in that case was that they are NOT a news organization. They are an entertainment channel, of which everyone should be aware.
No one should have believed that what they were saying about Dominion's voting machines was fact rather than opinion and there can be no actual malice for stating opinions. IOW, if it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck, everyone knows it's not really a duck.

I don't know about "questioning" them but they are admittedly hard core. I'm considered a squishy or moderate MAGA:)

No defense of Fox on Dominion. I knew they were going down a rabbit hole on that issue and I argued with my MAGA friends not to place any stock in those allegations. The system worked as they paid Dominion a pile of money for their mistake. As you know, only a few anchors, mainly Tucker, asserted those false allegations.

Fox is news channel, carrying news throughout the day and ending with Bret Baier's show - granted with a right of center slant. The nighttime lineup is conservative entertainment, ending the evening with the very entertaining Greg Gutfeld.

They didn't just make a "mistake". They deliberately LIED to promote Trump's narrative of a stolen election that's still being peddled after 60 court dismissals. That's not the conduct of a news channel. They have more in common with The Daily Show than they do with CNN.

I venture to guess I consume a lot more of Fox than you do. I can tell you that very few reporters or hosts (or guests) on Fox reported or opined that the Dominion software had been rigged to give Biden the victory or otherwise defamed Dominion. Tucker, yes and Lou Dobbs on Fox Business were the main culprits. Hannity would occasionally have Sydney Powell or Giuliani on but he didn't endorse it. It's fully on Fox that they allowed Tucker to run with it on his show night after night and that's why they were forced to pay the big bucks.

Second remake of The Fall Guy?

1. Bartiromo, Pirro, Hannity were all named in the complaint as having made derogatory comments about Dominion.

2. I guess we get to do this again: is a publisher liable for defamation if it distributes defamatory materials? I think the answer is yes, which makes the "didn't endorse it" part irrelevant. He had an affirmative duty to correct it, knowing that it was false. Otherwise it's defamation by him. Do you agree?

Even a retraction can't un-ring a bell. They put it out to the MAGA blogosphere knowing that it would be lapped up and spread as gospel. Some probably still believe it.
