Drugs interferred with his ability to remain calm and started to resist. He's not completely innocent like you guys are claiming. He shouldn't be carrying the mantle for police brutality.

Autopsies concluded George Floyd's death was a homicide. Levels of fentanyl were present in Floyd's system, but not enough to be considered fatal.

The Hennepin County medical examiner's office ruled Floyd's death was a homicide caused by "cardiopulmonary arrest" complicated by "restraint, and neck compression" while he was being subdued by police.

Medical Examiner Andrew Baker testified that the way officers held Floyd down and compressed his neck while restraining him "was just more than Mr. Floyd could take," given the condition of his heart.

Defending what? I oppose violence no matter who does it or for what reason. I grieve Floyd’s unnecessary death. I grieve Riley’s unnecessary death. The people who killed both of them should be punished to the fullest extent the law allows.

I also deplore what Hamas did in Israel, what Israel has done in Gaza, and what Russia has done in Ukraine. I know you’re just carrying out your Russian marching orders here, but it’s not liberals who take inconsistent positions on violence and murder these days.

If you want to argue police could of handled the situation differently, or maybe been more aware of the knee maneuver then maybe just maybe we can find some common ground. But acting as if the police were looking for trouble, and straight murdered Floyd, you're not going to win that argument. Everyone sees the dem party used the tragedy for political gain. Having fentanyl in your system, any amount, is a ticking time bomb.

I have posted multiple times about Laken Riley on this board and how I grieve what happened to her and hope her murderer receives the fullest possible measure of justice. I have a habit of doing that when people are senselessly murdered because (a) I deplore violence in all circumstances, and (b) I’m not a piece of shit.

Frankly, I've never been involved in discussing the case until this thread or many of the ones like it on either side. I don't expect better from people and certainly not the police. They've abused power long before any sort of party politics came into play.
