Stop it how exactly? Save democracy via coup or assassination? You can't save democracy by killing it. This is just a goofy impossible standard Dems are being held to. "If you truly believed Trump was evil and was going to throw the country into chaos, you would stop him through equivalent evil and throwing the country into chaos." What do you think the endgame should be if liberals truly believe Trump is dangerous? Please feel free to educate us on how we should be doing a coup that won't be violent and bloody and won't plunge the country into nightmarish unrest and/or civil war.
