Not sure what you mean, but I'm planning on this being my last post. What I'm saying is largely falling on deaf ears. How could we express it where you would see it?
"But there is no support to the fear...."Should I say: "Cis women, I hear you. But there is no support to the fear that you have caused by the right's political agenda to keep you scared to go into restrooms and locker rooms" ?
It's not just about fear of sexual assault. It's also not just about restrooms. It's about males in girl's/women's sports. It's about males in girl's/women's locker rooms and showers.
The only concern that is acknowledged here is concern about the feelings of trans men and women and THEIR feelings and THEIR comfort. The feelings of cis women are swept aside. In fact they are ridiculed for even having them. As I noted on my second post:
I've seen posters imply that women who don't want men in their restroom are prudes or are lying. I've seen posters expressing obvious contempt for females who don't want to compete against men in sports. I've seen the idea of using the restroom that aligns with your biological gender as obsessing over genitals or is the result of transphobia.
You have now added an additional layer justification for disregarding the comfort and feelings of cis women: (summarizing) "You don't really feel the way you feel. You're just being brainwashed by the political right."
The views of most every poster in this thread are that trans people are uncomfortable being in the restroom/locker room/shower that doesn't align with their "gender" and that uncomfortableness is a feeling that should be addressed by allowing them to go into the restroom/locker room/shower that makes them feel comfortable.
Well, if trans people have feelings of uncomfortableness about being in areas that don't align with their gender, why wouldn't cis women have equal and opposite feelings and uncomfortableness at the prospect of having people of the wrong sex in their areas?
