There are. I was a listener when he had comedians and different people on. I noticed early on that he just went along with whomever was on and didnt really push back unless it was something he was passionate about. then he started down the rabbit hole, and really only had conspiracy theorists and right leaning people on. that's when i stopped. but i know many more are still listening.
She should go on. its long form so she could at least get into the weeds about inflation, the border... all you have to do is talk it through with dum dum joe.

Just have to keep pointing out where D had a potential solution for things and R kept stopping that from happening. also point out weirdness of R candidates. would help if Walz went on with her too.

It's easy to stand at a rally and spew divisive hate for the simpletons to lap up. He has not made himself available to anyone who could or would even remotely hold his feet to the fire over anything that's come to light since the debate or any of the outright lies he spreads daily.

Of course. Part of the double standard.
This is a weirdly aggressive response. She needs a stump response on inflation. It should be well-rehearsed and focus-group tested.

I’m not even sure what the objection here to that is. That because Trump is a moron … she shouldn’t be running the best campaign possible? And pointing out she needs to be more crisp is now a sign that anyone who gives a sh** must be against her?

Inflation is her most obvious weak spot. And what she as VP has to answer for to what few undecided remain, hesitant Democrats or Rs who won’t bid for Trump …. to push might be Harris votes into voters.

I want that Tim Walz “get your phones out and send this around” kinda answer. So should anyone else supporting her.

A weirdly aggressive response. Just because Trump is a schmuck, does not mean Kamala should not be prepared to knock out of the park questions everyone will ask her.

Stop worrying about the double standard. Stay focused on her running the best campaign possible.

This is actually something she has done very well. She doesn’t play the victim or call attention to the obvious historical nature of her candidacy.
In that spirit, get this answer right.

Especially with the opportunity on Fox today to reach a small but real number of folks who will tune in to see here

I'm not sure which one of your posts I'm supposed to respond to. There was nothing "aggressive" about my post. Just the truth. It's easy to "make yourself available" when the people you're making yourself available to are simps.

Case in point. He held a town hall for women last night... it went LAUGHABLY bad. He spoke to the Economic Club of Chicago today... predictably, it went bad.

He's run from debates, interviews etc. for the last month or so.

She's winning some votes with this interview with Charlamagne Tha God right now. Doing well (it's on MSNBC)

I have 30 ish yr old friend NCSU Engineering graduate His friends are very diverse-politically diverse , racial diversity, economic diversity Pretty sure he almost always votes Dem , but he is a registered Independant -and pays no attention to "the voice' of either political party
He listens to to Joe rogan as a-maybe the-source of his news
I think there are lot of folks like him?
I’d say 80% of the plant workers on our factory floor are listening to JRE on any given day. White, black, Hispanic, doesn’t matter. This would be huge for Harris if she can hold her own.

Chris Rufo accusing Harris of plagiarism…

“…
Even if the source of the information is cited, it is still considered plagiarism if the ideas are not paraphrased or quoted in the correct place, experts told CNN late last year.

In one instance, Harris and O’C. Hamilton appear to have lifted some language from a John Jay College of Criminal Justice press release without proper attribution. The book copies exact language and sections of the press release but fails to use quotation marks in several sentences, according to an analysis of the book and the press release.

The authors do, however, cite the press release as a source in a footnote next to the text.

They also properly attribute other quotes from parts of the press release.

Rufo also highlighted another example claiming Harris and O’C. Hamilton “lifted language verbatim” from an NBC News report about a 2008 study on low graduation rates in city schools. CNN confirmed that the language is very similar in both the book and the NBC News report.

Haris and O’C. Hamilton cite the study in their book when using the study’s statistics, but do not cite the NBC News article.

The Harris campaign said the Democratic presidential candidate “clearly cited sources and statistics in footnotes and endnotes throughout” the book. …”

But Rufo et al don’t care about these sorts of technicalities of citation — they just want a platform for claims that Harris is stupid and “unfit”:

I look forward to the nine part NY Times series on this. Meanwhile Trump will claim Harris was eating babies babies aborted in the 5th trimester then spend 45 minutes of his rally swaying gently to Innagaddadavida and the NY Times will list it as a one sentence mention in an article entitled"Is Harris Doing Hostile Interviews Now to Show Off?"

Wait they're mad because she cited the information but didn't put " " around it?

OK now we're being waaaay beyond ridiculous.
No they give zero fucks about the actual alleged technical citation foibles, but care very much about being able to warp that into claims that Harris is too dumb to have written a book.

Didn't Trump plagiarize Mein Kampf?
Trump has never written any of his own books and probably hasn't even read them. He's hired ghostwriters to do all of his books, including the bestselling Art of the Deal. The person who wrote that book for him spent several months hanging around him for interviews and information, and in 2016 he flatly stated in interviews that based on what he saw that Trump was in no way qualified to be president. And of course he was ignored.

I've posted this before, but Rufo is a dangerous dude. He seems to be a good deal smarter than many other GOP operatives, he's a good debater, and he routinely reads what liberals write about him and threatens to sue at the drop of a hat if he finds that any of their information about him is wrong, and he demands public apologies, which he then publicizes on his social media sites to show other conservatives how he's "sticking it to the libs." He's the guy who started the whole "Critical Race Theory being taught in schools" nonsense that led to the rise of Moms for Liberty and attacks on public ed.

She copied verbatim excerpts from other people’s work.

Spin it however you want.

If this was something that a Republican did you’d have 37 articles linked.

Call conservatives all the names in the book… you and many on here are nothing but the different side of the same coin.

Fact.

First post six minutes after joining purporting to know anything about any posters here is an interesting start. 🧐
