Heels vs Horned Frogs

Man this game really went as perfectly as possible for the ABC crowd and everyone else wanting Belichick to fail. Probably best to stay off the college sports side of social media for awhile.
Sometimes you just gotta take the L. It is not like UNC football fans don't have ample experience with that.

And miss all the great memes?

Nah.

There are program defining moments. Games that mean so much more in reality than they do on paper. A win tonight would have been one such moment. Instead, we witnessed the death of UNC football. Great job.
You think a game against TCU is program defining?

Well this is a politics Board
How about Jon Preyer and Finance bro bringing us Coach b
Whats the ROI on that?????

"All eyes on CH, Belichick at the helm, elite crowd, Carolina greats (Jordan, LT, Pep, etc) out in full force, start the game on fire, etc. Annnnd then what? 41 unanswered, outplayed/outcoached, half empty stadium in the 3Q, blown out on national TV.Hate to say it, man, but THAT is what #UNC football has been for so long. Expectations = disappointment."

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL oh god I may have to spring a whole dollar to see the Homer Horde on IC try to polish this enormous turd.

No shit!

I will say……Maybe TCU is pretty damn good.

The problems are we are still slow, not athletic, not strong, not physical, and a long way from smart.

Jordan Shipp appears to be our lone threat at receiver.

And, Freddie Kitchens is our OC. That’s not good. Kitchens has been an INTERIM offensive coordinator. No one (until now) has hired this guy as an offensive coordinator without interim in the title.

After all of my pessimism (realism?) about our game tonight and UNC football generally, I will say that this post has a strong grain of truth. Turning around UNC football is going to be a long-term job and definitely won't happen overnight or even in one season, because it involves changing the program's whole culture and not just a coach or a coaching staff or a few players here and there. Having said that, whether a legendary NFL coach in his mid-seventies is up to doing that and turning around a college program remains a dubious proposition.
