No. Think about it clearly. Use logic. For one thing, what if other team has lost focus to begin the game? We might get a big lead, despite not being the better team (since the other team's lack of focus, not their ability, is the cause). Or what if we are the worse team but play out of our minds to build a big lead (2022 NCAA tourney final). Wasn't it good coaching followed by average?
The quality of a team's performance is measured over 40 minutes. You can't privilege some subset -- first five minutes, last five minutes, middle ten minutes -- as the basis for any analysis.
