the sun was shining until approximately the 5 minute mark. What's crazy is that until the collapse the game was going in exactly the opposite direction, or at least to a place that would at least silence the "dump davis" folks for one more game.
Actually Trimble did make a little contact when the guy was on the floor. Of course, the guy had already traveled and it was about a fifth of the contact as there was on the TO by HV but he did actually touch him. I saw it on one of the replays.Lost in the commotion from last night was how truly horrific the officiating was in the final two minutes.
We had three terrible calls go against us, each of which helped decide the game:
1. The phantom foul on Trimble when the VCU player tripped over his teammate and wasn't touched by a UNC player. That lead to VCU points.
2. The turnover on the following inbounds play where our player (I forget which one) was hit on the back by the VCU player and lost the ball out of bounds.
3. HV's turnover in the final seconds when he was clearly fouled and nothing was called.
2. I think that was Powell and yes he was fouled but not called.Lost in the commotion from last night was how truly horrific the officiating was in the final two minutes.

And the University and fanbase are earning it. The brand is there now. The facilities are there now. The television audience is there now. The money is there now. All of those are being squandered. You earn it every day. The past is the past.
My comment had nothing to do with the coaching staff. It was a comment on the team, the game, the season. If only the head coach and coaching staff had some control over the quality of players they have on the team and their development.
Yeah, it was too bad Trimble was reaching in as the guy was in the process of falling down. Bad call, but hard to argue that Trimble was reaching in. The HV no call though - you can't expect that kind of call at the end of the game. There was contact, but we were soft. Trimble didn't cut to the ball hard enough. Make a free throw and it doesn't matter.Lost in the commotion from last night was how truly horrific the officiating was in the final two minutes.

You have spent the past two years telling me and anyone who questioned a decision HD made, that we are not true fans, or simply labeling us as a "Hubert hater," "anti-Hubert," and so on. You said that as long as HD is the coach then you are going to support everything he does, as would any true fan. Fucking ad nauseam with your toxic positivity shit. Now, you're suggesting we look at replacements. Get the fuck outta here with your bullshit. You're either full of shit now, or then. Now that the season is over I think the time is right to suggest potential candidates.
I'll start with Tommy Lloyd- would be a home run, unlikely to leave Arizona
One more of anything positive by us or negative by them and it doesn't. That includes calls.Make a free throw and it doesn't matter.

I don't know, man. If I turned down a paycheck of 100010111011, I'm pretty sure I'd also turn down 000000001100010111011Lloyd at Arizona has managed sustained success despite portal attrition and NIL shenanigans.
I hope we just keep writing zeros on his offer until he says yes.
