insidecarolina.com already directs the user to On3. Impressive.

The IC247 message boards are still standing for the time being.
 
I made it to April 2017 on his message history. No game thread posts, also large gaps in the history. I think it is just gone, probably with other threads. eaten by the scout to 247 transfer I suppose
 
The 247 national folks are posting on the IC boards, including a thread that will be unlocked at 10a for a chat. So I wonder if they're going to keep the existing threads there?
 
Forums are populating at on3. Free boards just popped up. To answer someone's question that I couldn't before, yes - like at 247 there will be free and premium forums. You don't have to pay to post there.

It would be nice. i can dedicate some time to exploring the 400 pages of threads I didn't go through yet :)
 
247Sports is excited to announce that former North Carolina basketball star John Henson is part of the new team covering UNC at TarHeel247.com.

Henson will be doing at least one podcast a week in the offseason, tentatively scheduled to begin Aug. 6, and he will do multiple shows and feature special guests throughout the 2025-26 basketball season.

Henson, a two-time ACC Defensive player of the year and a 1,000-point scorer in just three seasons in Chapel Hill, is a rising star in the media landscape.

"We're thrilled to have John, one of the most accomplished players in Carolina history, joining TarHeel247 as host of our basketball podcast. John is as connected as anyone in Chapel Hill. He's a phenomenal communicator with a quick wit, fantastic sense of humor, and a gift for storytelling. Each week, he'll welcome some of the biggest names in Tar Heel basketball, from legendary players to iconic coaches, for candid, can't-miss conversations about the state of the program."

Henson, a former McDonald's All-American and Parade All-American, spent eight seasons in the NBA, most with the Milwaukee Bucks. We look forward to all the contributions that John will make to the site — both in front of the camera and behind the scenes with his contacts, intel and expertise.

Henson is part of a TarHeel247 roster that has many ties to UNC. Former Tar Heel Illustrated publisher Andrew Jones and staffer Jacob Turner have joined 247Sports as well. Seth Guttman, who worked in the UNC football recruiting office under Mack Brown, is covering football recruiting.

David Sisk is handling basketball recruiting. Sisk has coached on the middle school, high school, AAU, and college levels. He worked with more than 100 players who went on to play college ball, and three who made it to the NBA during his time with the Tennessee Travelers. He spent five years at Martin Methodist on the NAIA level as an assistant coach. David has worked in recruiting media since 2015. During that time he has spent time on the Memphis, Vanderbilt, Minnesota, Kentucky and North Carolina beats.

In addition, former Tar Heel football player Michael Felder will bring his unique perspective to the site and the message board.

We are also adding Noah Weiskopf to the team, a young and talented writer who has previously worked on the 247Sports site dedicated to the Cleveland Browns.

Only regular IC contributor not making the trip was Grant Hughes, who was a 247 employee, not an IC one.

Should be ok. the iC staff is intact. i don't know how the national people will be, but I don't follow recruiting anyway. The IC coverage will remain solid.
 
Looks like they've populated all the same boards on the "new" IC that they had previously 🙌

I still need to create an account over there lol
