The thing that has surprised me the most is the amount of posters whose response to the transitions today has either been...

- "What's going on here? Where are Ben/Buck/Rell?"

or

- "How are the boards still here? Am I already on On3?"

The first time or two I saw these (or variations), I thought the posters were trying to be funny. Then it kept happening and the posters in question kept asking questions and I can only conclude that folks were serious.

Same. I have very little faith in the general public these days and the number of confused posters still surprised me.

The guy posting about how he felt bad that Ben and Don lost their website and their jobs had me questioning my own sanity.

My final(?) observation from today is how many folks - on both 247 and On3 - are complaining about how terrible the On3 boards are and how the 247 boards are so much better.

The weird thing is that I'm pretty sure these are largely the same folks who were complaining 8 years ago about how terrible the 247 boards were and how the Scout boards were so much better.

There are 4,000+ posts on the premium boards in 24 hours and 200 posts on the free boards (not counting ZZL). So there is roughly 20x more interaction on the paid side.
