Those weren't really ZZLP mod bans. Once you attract enough attention, some things are determined above our paygrade.OCS and RBG weren't permabans?

Dude you're screaming as loud as everyone for people to stop screaming. Just shut the fuck up already.I am SO SORRY to have offended your delicate sensibilities on the internet, TheChickenBrothers, and I hope that you can both somehow forgive me AND go on to live some semblance of a normal life. You have my most sincerest best wishes, thoughts, and prayers. You will overcome!
Yep. So much easier to argue when you just make up the data. I don't find you particularly convincing at this point. Not long-term, consistent ZZLP posters (at least in the time period I looked at).
It's so much easier to have strong opinions when you steadfastly refuse to look at any kind of data.

Thanks for admitting for showing why you were banned for bigotry. I got no problem defending that one.I haven't been online since Friday, so I'm just seeing this thread and haven't read anything beyond the first page.
I posted on, and was banned from, ZZLP. I also simply read ZZLP, so I saw several of bannings happen in real-time. Some were warranted due to threats, profanity, personal attacks, etc. Many were confusing. One example of a confusing ban was that of a long-time internet poster - CincyDawg. I've posted on 3 different forums with him and he is the most (sometimes frustratingly) benign posted I've ever encountered. Rarely replies to another post. Has never, as far as I can tell, threatened anyone, used profanity, personally attacked yet he was banned from ZZLP. The reasoning, as far as I can tell, was because he got other posters all wound up.
ZZLP, IMO, had a very specific view of how they wanted the forum to run....and it was with strict guardrails. People who were persistent with non-liberal views were labeled as trolls and shown the door. Bringing up race (non-white) was "at your own risk", even if what you were saying was factually accurate. My last banning, I believe, was because I said (paraphrasing) "I'm all for ensuring equal rights for LGBTQ people but I don't think we should be 'celebrating' what is ultimately an abnormality any more than we should celebrate autism."
Nah, I'm laughing at you, chief. Laughing my ass off at you, in fact. And having a hell of a jolly good time while doing it! You post like someone who got routinely stuffed into lockers and their head stuffed down toilets in high school. I'm actually legitimately hopeful that you and gt will continue your bitching and crying on this thread indefinitely because I'm a sadist.Dude you're screaming as loud as everyone for people to stop screaming. JFC you are such a little bitch. You're conflating two different issues. You're getting criticized for your approach to moderating long-term posters that you disagreed with versus the ones who you liked. Stop acting like every person you banned was some fly-in from a tar pit or from a different scout board.
Or don't. It's water under the bridge at this point. Keep lying to us if you want to, but I do wonder if you're still lying to yourself about treating everyone the same.
No, thank you for supporting my assertion. Biologically speaking, homosexuality IS abnormal. Mammals are designed to keep their species going. Saying that isn't bigotry. Thanks for admitting for showing why you were banned for bigotry. I got no problem defending that one.
As far as CincyDawg, not a long time poster on the ZZLP and, as you show, was from a different board. Those folks aren't getting a particularly long leash.
If you're confirming the username is correct, I've already confirmed with IC that the ban date for that user is correct and it aligns with the last posts made under that username.I have no recollection of when the ban of LPH happened as I went straight into a new account. It does not seem like it was 8 years ago but it may have been.
Not weighing in on the ban decision, but those words are repugnant on multiple different levels.I haven't been online since Friday, so I'm just seeing this thread and haven't read anything beyond the first page.

Humans are far more than just our biology...which is why your statements are bigotry. No, thank you for supporting my assertion. Biologically speaking, homosexuality IS abnormal. Mammals are designed to keep their species going. Saying that isn't bigotry.
Funny because I think the subject of this thread moderated like the person you describe. I'm actually peretty certain of it.Nah, I'm laughing at you, chief. Laughing my ass off at you, in fact. And having a hell of a jolly good time while doing it! You post like someone who got routinely stuffed into lockers and their head stuffed down toilets in high school. I'm not sure how many consistent, long-term posters there were on the ZZLP during that period...I'd guess a few dozen. So we're up to 6 out of how many "consistent, long-term" posters? We understand that you only contributed to two of them and did not make the final call.
In no way am I asking for an apology. ZZL, like any other site, can ban whoever they want for any reason they want. My point, as your responses have supported, is that it wasn't about being factual, it was about not expressing an opinion outside of liberal views, which tend to want to filter facts through a filter of feelings when deciding what position is ok to take.Humans are far more than just our biology...which is why your statements are bigotry.
I understand that you and I won't agree on this one, but I have no issue with banning you for that statement. I won't apologize for that ban because such bigotry made it well-deserved.
It would help if you would let people know what your name was on the zzl instead of hiding behind a new username, but to this specific point people do actually celebrate neurodiversity including autism and I’d like to see you tell a parent their autistic child is abnormal.I haven't been online since Friday, so I'm just seeing this thread and haven't read anything beyond the first page.

Yes, the ZZLP rules prohibited bigotry. In no way am I asking for an apology. ZZL, any other site, can ban whoever they want for any reason they want. Yes, please. And thank you. After incessant bitching about my observations of ZZLP moderating you now wish for me to continue with it? You will get your wish.
On the premium board, so idiot screenshotted one of BWall's posts from the Caleb Wilson visit thread and posted it on BR. Evidently, that user had been taking screenshots for a while from premium and posting it on BR. BWall has been on the boards for a long time, and, and many people know his identity and his job. So, leaking the information publicly to what he was sharing could negatively affect his job. What was the info? Or can you point to the thread and page on IC where he posted it?
As opposed to you who doesn't bring or engage with any data, but post after post of pure drivel.Yep. So much easier to argue when you just make up the data. I don't find you particularly convincing at this point.
What was the post in 2016 and was that a permaban? Because I'm pretty sure my permaban happened during the Lia Thomas controversy or possibly after the controversial Chappelle special and that was way after 2016. If I received any bans before that there was no communication about it and i probably didn't notice because I didn't post much anyway. If you're confirming the username is correct, I've already confirmed with IC that the ban date for that user is correct and it aligns with the last posts made under that username.
The problem with your "SnoopRob wronged me" whining is that I wasn't made a mod until January of 2017...so I wasn't even a mod when you got banned.
But, from what you've said, when you returned you posted for years while I was a mod and didn't encounter any other mod issues. (If that's wrong, you can tell me the name of your replacement username and we can see what the record shows.)
So it seems that you're complaining very vehemently about a ban that I had nothing, and could not have had anything, to do with.
