It did nothing and yet ten years after it was signed Iran had no nuclear weapon in spite of your and Israel's ilk bleating about how they are constantly weeks away from having one. So your cult leader bombs them and has you bleat some more about how their program was "obliterated" and wouldn't be able to produce a nuke for years, only to have several months pass before they are supposedly yet again weeks away from a nuke making going to war a necessity. I'm sure you were pushing the narrative of no new wars during the last election, yet here you are pushing another war that will fix a problem that you supposedly fixed several months ago that hadn't been a problem in the decade since the "horrible deal" was signed. More to the point, and to Callatoroy’s prior commentary about NK and Pakistan, Trump and Israel have ensured that there is considerably more incentive for Iran to develop nuclear weapons. It is the rational decision.

I'm so amused at the shameless abject hypocrisy of the notion that the only country to ever actually use nuclear weapons on another country, and the only country besides Russia and Israel that seems to believe it is our God-granted birthright to repeatedly bomb and invade other countries when we don't like their leaders- has the gall to believe it has the moral authority to tell other countries that they can't pursue nuclear weapons themselves.

Sixth commandment refers to "ratsach" aka "unlawful killing" aka murder -- it does not rule out killing for every reason.
And again in the Matthew verse you copied it refers specifically to murder not all killing no matter the reason.
Jesus seems ok giving this parable in Luke 19:27:
“But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them—bring them here and kill them in front of me.”
And more directly, if someone believes in the trinity god of christianity they also believe Jesus is Yahweh who killed people left right and center. If you're going to quote the 10 commandments then one has to include the rest of the OT where yahweh slaughtered entire people groups.

Obama's Iran treaty had some provisions phase out in 2026, but most remained until 2031. The one phasing out in 2026 was the prohibition on centrifuge acquisition. Obviously the expiration of that wouldn't lead to a bomb -- it would simply allow Iran to start obtaining the equipment it would need if it wanted a nuclear program.
