Is Trump dead?

The weekend before last, the right wing went on every news source they could saying that Vance could take over in a heartbeat.

This week, Trump is AWOL and no one is allowed near him.

The rumor, which I've seen gaining steam, is that he can't speak anymore due to a stroke.

The obsession lately with his hands is so dumb. He’s 80 and probably takes blood thinners. He can get bruised by a stiff wind.
My FIL is 75 and in great shape but he’s been on blood thinners for years. His arms always look like theyve been beaten with a bat.

Something is up, I have zero doubt. Trump isn’t particularly clever - he’s a bull, a blunt force trauma, and attention is his lifeblood. Now, am I certain it’s health? No. It seems the likeliest to me, given his hands, ankle swelling, and growing incoherence, but I also wouldn’t put it past him to be meeting with Russian or Israeli back channels, or constructing some new grand scheme with the Saudis. That said, he’s usually pretty public with his corruption, or at a minimum not particularly layered in the coverups.
 
This bastard has gotten away with so much shit over the past nine years that I'm not counting on anything until there's some kind of actual evidence. He's survived more impeachments than any POTUS in history, been elected to a second term and won the national popular vote despite having been convicted on 34 counts (by a jury, not a judge) of serious crimes, gotten through multiple credible lawsuits, including sexual assault, has said and done numerous terrible things to all sorts of people with no apparent consequences whatsoever, ran a first-term epic shitshow yet still nearly got reelected and did win just four years later, is now running an even more epic shitshow (surrounded by truly horrible and incompetent people) that has led his approval ratings to plummet to nearly the lowest levels of his entire time in office, and on and on. Wake me when he dies, resigns, or otherwise faces some kind of real consequences or justice for what he's done to the country and to numerous groups and individuals while he's been in office. Otherwise I'm just expecting his fat carcass to show up on television in the next few days like usual bloviating and bullying and threatening good people and getting away with it as his adoring cult defends his every move, tweet, and statement.

OK? I'm 71 and have been on blood thinners since 2008 and I, moments ago, confirmed with others to my arms don't look like I've been beaten with a bat.

Trump is a pitcher who thinks he has a good curve ball and he keeps throwing it. When in actuality, he has a shitty curve that just hangs over the plate. And, these guys are just crushing them out of the park. Trouble is, there’s no manager who’s going to go out to the mound and take him out of the game.

If Trump were a pitcher, the analogy would be that he’s hit six batters in a row and not only has the ump not thrown him out of the game, the ump hasn’t even issued a warning, nor has the ump awarded first base to any of the hit batsman. Also, no batter has charged the mound nor has the opposing team’s manager complained once to the ump. Everyone’s afraid of Trump the pitcher.
