No. I'm definitely not ok with another terrorist organization running Gaza. The question was whether or not I'm ok with Netanyahu arming ISIS to fight Hamas. Sure. Why not? I could come back to bite him since I doubt ISIS is a big fan of Israel, but nothing wrong with leveraging a little theological hatred to your advantage.

That's an aspiration, not a plan. Not going to indulge you arguing over the meanings of words. A plan is an identified means to a specified end. That is not a plan.

This is fucking moronic. So you arm a gang, have them fight Hamas, hope they beat Hamas, and then hope that they don't fight you? Or that you can then backstab them and eliminate them?

Now you see why I don't answer the question, "what should Israel do." My answer would also be moronic, because it's an incredibly complicated issue that requires a great deal of study to really grasp and a deep familiarity with the relevant players. Since I generally try to avoid being a moron, I don't offer up moronic ideas. Apparently that has never stopped you.

The reason that they aren't "winning" is that they aren't trying to win. They don't have a plan -- not unlike the US in Vietnam, where we seemed to assume if we killed all the bad guys, we'd come out on top. But the bad guys kept coming and coming.

If Israel were to come out with a realistic peace plan to secure better defenses for them and a vision for the lawful inhabitants of the Palestinian areas, I'll bet it would get a lot of international support. But have you seen anything like that? I haven't. Because they don't want peace. The religious right has taken over the country and that religious right is genocidal.

When you’ve been at war forever, sometimes human nature wound take over and that would be “just level the place and ask questions later.” I think that’s probably the appetite for Israeli people right now. Make Gaza a parking lot and personally we won’t have to worry about them taking me as a hostage.

The US is arming Ukraine. Before Ukraine was attacked, would the US ever have been in bed with them? Of course not. War makes strange bed fellows.

You may not know what Israel should do but you seem pretty confident that it shouldn't be continuing to pursue and kill Hamas. I disagree. The only chance for Israel to be moderately safe is to neutralize Hamas.

Doesn’t forgive the suffering piled upon civilians in Gaza but if this IDF claim is accurate (and IDF has made it pretty clear any of their claims require confirmation by credible sources), then it does create a lot of questions about who among UN, WHO and European aid officials knows what about Hamas tunnels under world agency hospitals and other locations.

Yeah, it doesn’t make sense. How is it still there if they supposedly killed him there? Wouldn’t the tunnel have been destroyed? The supposed reason that they bombed the hospital was to destroy the tunnel. So they just bombed the hospital to clear out a way to film a video? lol

They are notorious for fabricating videos and have been called out for it. Again, let in investigators and foreign media and let them verify. Otherwise, there will always be doubt.

Israel should have had better intelligence for years and when the tunnels were being built, should have bombed the mess out of them.

This is rich. If Hamas had posted the same video I think some people here would find it 100% credible. Amazing the lengths some go to on here to JCD for Hamas.
