Believe it also means something similar to cutting someone off from alcohol.The term “86” has always meant “to get rid of” or “cancel out”.
It’s mainly used in the restaurant industry to let the staff know that the kitchen is out of something or it’s gone bad.
To say “86” in reference to a person, in this case Trump, doesn’t necessarily mean to kill, or “rub out” in mob lingo. It can simply mean “take him off the menu”. Cancel him as in “cancel culture”. Ignore him, he’s no longer on the menu.
That said, everybody is going to read between the lines and assume 8645 or 8647 is code for wishing the guy in Pennsylvania hadn’t missed.
