8. The FBI and Capitol Police both failed to investigate the individuals responsible for building fake gallows on Capitol grounds on January 6.
Chairman Loudermilk Releases Second January 6, 2021 Report
December 17, 2024
WASHINGTON - Today, Committee on House Administration's Subcommittee on Oversight Chairman Barry Loudermilk (GA-11) released an interim report on his findings on the events surrounding January 6, 2021, as well as his investigation into the politicization of the January 6th Select Committee. This report outlines criminal recommendations against former Representative Liz Cheney.
TOP FINDINGS:
1. Former Representative Liz Cheney colluded with “star witness” Cassidy Hutchinson without Hutchinson’s attorney’s knowledge.
2. Former Representative Liz Cheney should be investigated for potential criminal witness tampering based on the new information about her communication.
3. Cassidy Hutchinson’s most outrageous claims lacked any evidence, and the Select Committee had knowledge that her claims were false when they publicly promoted her.4. Former Representative Liz Cheney used the January 6 Select Committee as a tool to attack President Trump, at the cost of investigative integrity and Capitol security.
- President Trump did not attack his Secret Service Detail at any time on January 6.
- President Trump did not have intelligence indicating violence on the morning of January 6.
- Cassidy Hutchinson falsely claimed to have drafted a handwritten note for President Trump on January 6.
- Representative Cheney and Cassidy Hutchinson baselessly attempted to disbar Hutchinson’s former attorney.
5. The January 6 Select Committee was improperly constituted and lacked authority.
6. The January 6 Select Committee neglected or withheld evidence from its Final Report and deleted voluminous records it should have preserved.
7. The Department of Defense scapegoated the Washington D.C. National Guard to distract blame from senior leadership.
- Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller dismissed President Trump’s order prior to January 6 to use “any and all” military assets to keep the demonstrations safe.
- Secretary of the Army Ryan McCarthy intentionally delayed the D.C. National Guard’s response to the Capitol on January 6, despite authorization.
- The Department of Defense Inspector General published a flawed report containing fabrications and ignored relevant information.
- The Department of Defense and the Department of Defense Inspector General knowingly and inaccurately placed blame on D.C. National Guard leadership for the delayed response on January 6.
- The Department of Defense Inspector General was not responsive to the Subcommittee’s requests and even obstructed the Subcommittee’s investigation.
- The Subcommittee detected an inappropriately close relationship between the Department of Defense and its watchdog Inspector General
9. The Subcommittee published more than 44,000 hours of CCTV footage from the Capitol.
10. The Subcommittee conducted an extensive review of the investigation into the two pipe bombs on January 5 and 6, and that report is set to be released within the next few days.

1. who do you think is lying? allegation number 3 is provably false. not only did CH not try to disbar her former attorney, she refused to testify at disciplinary proceedings brought by other attorneys. liz cheney had nothing to do with that claim. BUT the lawyer filed a complaint against liz cheney. always projection. also CH's lawyer should be disbarred given that he suborned false or misleading testimony and also did not zealously represent his client. So, which side is lying here?

Without a single doubt. It just feels like bizzarro world.Dark, dark times are ahead of us the next 4 years.
First, no, I wasn't aware of the requirements to use the National Guard in that situation.1. who do you think is lying? allegation number 3 is provably false. not only did CH not try to disbar her former attorney, she refused to testify at disciplinary proceedings brought by other attorneys. liz cheney had nothing to do with that claim. BUT the lawyer filed a complaint against liz cheney. always projection. also CH's lawyer should be disbarred given that he suborned false or misleading testimony and also did not zealously represent his client.
2. all that shit in point 7 is bullshit and we know it because trump wasn't trying to keep the demonstrations safe. we have seen texts from trump's own family asking him to do something, and he refused.
3. also, this might blow your mind but national guard troops are not allowed to be used for law enforcement without the invocation of the insurrection act. trump did not invoke the insurrection act. therefore, the national guard could not be deployed. they dont tell you that part, do they? i wonder why.
4. the committee was duly authorized and any claim to the contrary is bullshit. every single rule was followed.
why is it that you have to grasp for conspiracy theories at every turn? the number of people who are implicated in this so-called coverup (notably, all are Trump's people) is staggering. the dod, the dod IG, the Jan 6 committee, the sec of the army, liz cheney, cassidy hutchinson, and so on. that would be almost impossible to pull off without extensive planning. but sure, lets go with the conspiracy rather than the thing we saw happening on live tv, and the actual criminal conspiracy charges to which trumps' people have already pleaded guilty.
once again, the co-conspirators pleaded guilty. so all this bullshit is just that. why do you take these crooks and liars seriously
So, the two least important items on that list were what you claimed to be focused on, yet you still posted the list in its entirety and implied the January 6th committee was lying about all of it.First, no, I wasn't aware of the requirements to use the National Guard in that situation.
Second, and I'm trying to keep this narrowly focused, there were two things that I was referring to specifically: the claims about Trump assaulting the SS driver of the SUV and reaching for, and grabbing, the steering wheel and who wrote the note that eventually appeared as a Tweet.
You expected more? So, the two least important items on that list were what you claimed to be focused on, yet you still posted the list in its entirety and implied the January 6th committee was lying about all of it.
Laughably bad justification for a bad-faith post by you.
JFC. Hutchinson testified she was told about this incident by Tony Ornato (deputy chief of staff) so it is possible it isn’t true while it is also true that Hutchinson wasn’t lying. Ornato did not deny the allegations but testified multiple times that he “did not recall.”First, no, I wasn't aware of the requirements to use the National Guard in that situation.

Willful ignorance implies that one knows better and is being disingenuous, so I'm going with plain old straightforward ignorance...Willful ignorance or recreational contrarianism?
Yep. Or just good 'ol fashioned trolling/baiting/instigating.Willful ignorance or recreational contrarianism?
Nah, he knows better. He is instigating.Willful ignorance implies that one knows better and is being disingenuous, so I'm going with plain old straightforward ignorance...
Clearly I wasn't specific enough with original post and there seems to be a high level of sensitivity to any perceived questioning of Trump's role in January 6th.JFC.
