He's so off the wall in his approach that I've paid no attention to his style. There's no particular insight involved other than that jumps out as not Sandi.

It was the policy of the last Administration for 3 years. Only in an election year did they start to clamp down on the border. So my point is the Democrats caused this by sending a signal to the world to "come on in" the water is warm and then purposefully allowed the border to be open. I'm sure you watched the 2016 and 2020 Democratic primaries where the candidates were competing to show how much they supported illegal immigration.
 
An interjection: There is not now, nor has there ever been an electorally viable Left in the United States.

What exactly did they cause? You're wrong about the number of immigrants. You're wrong about the percentage of illegals.. You're wrong about the correlation to crime. You're wrong about the correlation to disease. And, as the Cato Institute points out often and loudly, any connection made between immigration and the drug trade are the asinine ravings of a lunatic.

So, in some sort of fact supported detail, what did they cause?

How about California having to spend 8.3 Billion this year on healthcare expenses for illegals?
 
How about it? What does that have to do with the nation or all the terrible, horrible sinful crimes all over the country that those drug crazed degenerate immigrants commit when they aren't eating the pets?

How much do you spend in Georgia? The theory of the case is that you either pay for them in the emergency room or you pay for them through Medicaid, and Newsom was trying to get the feds to pick up the tab. The latest is that Newsom wants to put the program on pause (coincidentally as he has moved to the right prior to a presidential run) and maybe start charging $100 a month in premiums.

I don't know a great solution to the issue, but I am pretty sure allowing emergency rooms to be used as walk-in clinics is not the best way to handle medical care efficiently.

State - funded uncompensated outlays for health care provided to Georgia illegal aliens is estimated to be 210 million. I have no doubt that Georgia residents pay more for medical insurance due to illegals visiting emergency rooms but I suspect Georgia insurance premiums are less than California.
