I never got why Trump didn’t pull out of Afghanistan. Other than he didn’t want the withdrawal to be on his watch even though he was totally against being there. Didn’t want to come across as a loser.

1. He was too singularly focused on extorting Zelensky to be bothered with that. And let's be honest: graft and grift don't just grow on trees. It takes work, attention, time.

2. Out of curiosity, what's your estimate of the number of leaders across Latin America who saw what the Korean president did and thought, "fucking amateurs"?

LOL. That was such a half-baked attempt at a coup that it made J6 look organized and planned by comparison. I'm just imagining the reactions of people who live in Africa. "That was a coup? He tried to overthrow the government with a televised address, without locking down the parliament or even getting the military on his side?"
