What difference would shouting at the top of their lungs make?Maybe not hold silly press conferences where they shout "we're going to win, we're going to win?" Maybe not hold up silly paddles with slogans but get up and silently walk out on Trump as a group when he insulted them and went after Biden? How many Congressional Democrats have you seen do more than stay relatively silent during all of this? With few exceptions the reaction from Congressional Democrats has been quite muted since Trump took office. If Trump is truly an existential threat to the country, why have Congressional Democrats - again with a few exceptions - been relatively quiet?
We lost the election. Both houses and the presidency. That means it's their game now.
I grow weary of the general attitude among liberals that "the Dem party just sucks." How does that help at all?
The people running the show are smart. They have lots of information at their disposal. My inclination is to trust their judgment absent some obvious flaw in what they are doing, and I just don't see that because I don't see the alternative more than they are doing.
They are apparently demanding a separation of powers provision in the CR in order to sign on. I don't know exactly what that looks like or what it would entail, but let's assume it would be enforceable and have teeth. Isn't that exactly what the Dems should be doing?
