Scott Jennings spin earlier on CNN:

1) Robinson was way behind already so this doesn't matter.

2) Trump endorse ALL Republican candidates so there is no tie to Trump. (FALSE, he does not. And, CNN played the video of Trump's comments calling Robinson MLK X2 and probably better than MLK, a rising Pub star, great man with a great future in the party.

3) Down ballot candidates don't effect votes for Prez in a state.

4) Trump should do whatever is best for Trump, the Presidency is the big prize and what matters. (When has Trump ever NOT done what is best for him alone. other than when he is too dumb to figure out what that is?)

At this point I'm not sure you can define it as GOP given all the Insanity in addition to deflections. The party is now maga.

Yeah they have been gerrymandering for years so "heads I win tails you lose" is considered okie dokie? At least they've all shown they're spineless without moral conviction. Like poor Russians getting killed in Ukraine for a check to their moms. Sad.

She didn’t do so well as to distance herself from Trump.

All Trump had to do in the “debate” was not drool; Harris had to solve inflation, Gaza, housing, education, and more.

Did she beat him on debating points in the “debate?” Yes. Did she move numbers in meaningful ways? That’s to be seen.

She’s still a black woman running against a white man……for a clear cut, knock-out blow in the “debate,” she needed him to be drooling. Trump spewing Trumpist language doesn’t move numbers to Harris.

It’s tight as hell. It’ll be tight as hell until the polls close.

Harris CAN’T stumble. Not once. Trump can….Trump stumbling is already factored in by media and voters.

Today, she’s behind and needs to make up ground.
