Okay -off the wall
I have not followed much this season. For "friends reasons" I, today , am a Mets fan
Do I have a shot ? at some progress with the Mets??
 
Trying to talk Drew into going to Cleveland Saturday for the Tigers game 1. He's hates being a visiting fan so I'm not sure I'm gonna win this argument. In any case, it's just been fun to watch this team do so much with so little.

For reference, the Tigers entire roster payroll is less than that of one reliever for the Astros.
 
The Tigers payroll is just $8 million less than Cleveland, and the single player who more that makes up that difference (Shane Bieber) has been on the IR since April. We always had a good time with visiting Tigers fans. The worst were Yankees and Blue Jays fans.

We met some Tigers fans when we were in Detroit for a series one year. We became friends and they stayed at our house when they came to Cleveland for games. My wife is already talking shit to them after the Tigers’ win last night!

Not sure if it would be different, but that stat is true for the Tigers WC roster. Still a pretty crazy stat--especially considering one of the Tigers earns something like $14 million of that total.
 
My husband is in misery right now seeing Wheeler’s sterling start wasted.
