Brewers finished first in defensive efficiency but are kicking the ball all around the park tonight.
Payamps not covering 1st base opened up some big scoring for the Mets, I saw the same mistake yesterday with pitchers becoming fans when the ball is grounded to the right side of the infield. WTF ?
It should be an automatic reflex to run to 1st base in that situation. Nothing could be more frustrating to a manager as that has been emphasized forever at every level of the game.
