1. If Caleb could play Dook every game he would have been a first round pick two years ago.

2. I picked Alabama to beat Dook in the elite 8. An X-factor is the unabashed dirty play by Sears that seemingly never gets called. This is not Coach K so it's a question how much those will be called agains t]he $EC team.

3. AgDevil is ok other than being a DOOK fan! No one is perfect.

Thought the same thing in 2019..
Sure, but Flagg is the difference maker here. He appears to be a winning player who makes winning plays. Better than Zion. Definitely a better leader and overall a more well-rounded player.

And this team doesn't have a Cam Reddish to shoot them out of games.

I was skeptical of Flagg coming in, but he's the real deal. Most talented player in college basketball probably since Durant.

Anything can happen in a best-of-one, and even this far into the tournament, the field is probably a better bet than any one team, but Duke has to be considered the favorite and by a lot. According to kenpom, Duke is about as much better as Alabama than Alabama was better than BYU.

The problem with KenPom is Duke's conference schedule. We really still don't know how good they are given the weakness of their competition.

Their most likely path is thru the SEC - Bama, TN and either FL or Aub. If you give them a 65% chance of winning each game, they have a 27% chance of winning it all...

I know. Like I said, the field is still the better bet. But I think they are the clear favorites. They took a career game from Caleb Love and still coasted.

Agreed. I’ve seen too many players who were supposed to be phenomenal coming out of HS to buy into the Flagg hype. I expected something between Shav Randolph and Chet Holmgren. Dead wrong there. He’s not just well-rounded. He’s legitimately good to great at everything. No holes in his game.

And he is shockingly not cocky, whiny, dirty, etc. Christ that really bugs me.

Can't even hate on this duke team like duke teams of years past. They are THAT good and don't play the typical dookie brand of basketball

And if they do win it, it likely comes by beating the best teams in the field. Several of which are also very good

Say what you will about Scheyer but he just isn't the same detestable character K was

With that said.... go field but I'm not counting on it
