As a Duke fan, it doesn't come close to a top ten loss. I don't care about it being K's last game - that team was good, but not great. Ultimate losses in 1986, 1999, 2004 and 2019 hurt much more.

Hell, the Carolina losses in 1974 and 1984 in Carmichael hurt more.

Does it rank above or below losing to ncstate in the elite 8?

1974? C'mon. Duke was 10-16 and going nowhere.

You cannot seriously compare a Final Four loss (with a national championship favorite, no less) to a regular season loss by a bad team.

I wouldn't care if UNC were playing Tiddlywinks University. If we lost in the Final Four, it would be much more devastating than any regular season loss, even the absurd Austin Rivers game or the one with ugly Ds and NCs on the jerseys. No credible fan of either program would ever claim to be more upset by a regular season loss than a Final Four loss.

I hope Alabama didn't blow their wad last night and saved some for their next game.
Fuck this, what about d00k? Why is it Alabama is the one to have blown their wad? How many times did d00k hit 100 this season?
They could have shot their wad too. Matter of fact, if anybody hits the century mark tomorrow between those two teams, I can see it being Bama. Now, it could end up 100-98, but I refuse to think Bama is the only team between the two which may not have any scoring left in the tank. Scoring is what Bama does.
