Revisionist mindset. If you ask people now what Trump's approval rating was at the end of his last term they average saying 45-50%. In reality it was near 30.

People in the out group who support the fascists always think they’ll be viewed as one of the good ones and spared from the negative effects of what they voted for. Latinos voting for Trump think it will just be Haitians, Africans, and perhaps other Latino nationalities that suffer.
