Yeah, it's gonna suck really bad. Supreme Court is now guaranteed to be super conservative for the next 20 years. Likely a national abortion ban coming. Musk slashing federal agencies....they warned us it would be painful and I expect it will be for a lot of people.
They will also cut a lot of funding for research. Our university systems could collapse. I could easily lose my job.

I find that funny because even on this forum and its predecessor, the people who supported Trump’s “policies” professed disdain for his behavior and contempt for his character. He doesn’t even seem popular within his own family.
There were two Trump family members (Ivanka and Jared) who had top level positions in Trump’s White House. Did anyone see them at all during his 2024 campaign?

Next 20 years?

Next FIFTY.

Holding Out hope for the blue wall. Gonna take a break and check back in a few hours.

Trump will probably declare victory before the votes are counted but he has done that before. He may be right this time but still to be counted to confirm.
Build that wall!!

So where the hell did all of the Biden 2020 voters go? I don’t understand how people could vote against Trump then but not now. Did Covid really fuck is up in more ways than we know?
It’s people mad that Biden didn’t fix Trump’s fuck ups fast enough and without any negative side effects. A lot of idiots think that the fact they’re stuck in a crappy job is POTUS’ fault.

It doesn't make sense. Trump had to get more Biden voters than Harris got Pubs, and lots of Pubs came out in support of Harris. He would have to get more new voters, and you would think Harris would get more of those, especially with young women on the abortion issue.

I’ve given up on trying to figure it out.

The country has two groups of people who see the world in a different way and have opposing moral compasses.

Compassion and kindness vs hate and intolerance

The results are showing the Trump has improved on his numbers from 2020 among Hispanics and, to a lesser extent, Black people.

Harris doesn’t seem to be driving turn out in the urban areas that she needed to, and suburbs also aren’t coming out as strongly for her than they did for Biden. That was her whole strategy.
Just wondering why. It doesn't make aense.
