I have deleted all social media. I have no desire to play nice with these people and pretend we have a difference of opinion on policy. We have a difference of opinion on the fundamental rights of human beings and the lenses in which we view them.

This is still a very racist bigoted country, and we are no longer the envy of the world… I’m not sure we ever were.

I think America was an ideal for many bad places in the world. In many other non-bad places you are not going to find that. It's not like people in Norway and France are in general jealous of the US. Hell, even here in Canada people generally look at America with a "what the fuck?" expression.

Immigrants and minorities voted for Trump.

Women lead men in votes cast and decided NOT to enshrine access to abortion and chose a rapist over a female.

Let’s face it: Democrats failed here. They ran a woman tied to an unpopular president, focused on abortion and higher ideals when all anyone cared about was immigration and the economy.

They failed. We keep pretending that everyone cares about the greater good as an overall message when most people are selfish individuals.

Maybe Democrats spend less time proselytizing and more time just focused on fucking winning races, then they can work on implementing policies that help the broader electorate. But WIN first.

I have deleted my social media as well - going there isn't going to be good for my mental health
 
Inflation was going to be a problem Democrats no matter who was on the ticket, but as I said months ago, selecting Harris as VP was a terrible decision looking forward to 2024. And I say this as a proud Harris voter - I think she would have made an excellent President. But I'm not sure she was electable, and her performance in Democratic primaries should have been a red flag.

I hear you. But ultimately the message shouldn’t matter when held to the light that is Donald Trump.

And really it boils down to stupidity. If you voted for Trump because “my groceries are expensive” then you’re a dumb person.

What message would that be? They actually fixed the economy and came up with a plan for immigration. Neither the press or the public noticed. If the media fails to inform and public won't listen, I'm not sure what you do.

I will continue to hold a grudge against the media for the rest of my days. They're probably coming out of this as among the most culpable and pay the lowest price.

Democrats didn’t fail.

The nation, by the system in place, chose what it wanted.

That’s actually how it is supposed to work.

The dems have to provide the other choice and did.
 
Ultimately Tik Tok won this election which means that China and Russia won this election. Too many feeble-minded individuals glued to algorithms that feed them complete bullshit in 15-second blocs that they are too stupid or too careless to fact check.
