Someone in my mom group just posted that the Greensboro Costco is insane right now. Says she’s never seen it like that before.

My guess is it’s a combination of increased membership due to its vocal support of DEI policies plus concerns about tariffs. I don’t love going there because it’s so hard to get in and out of the parking lot. I’ll definitely stay clear for the next couple of weeks.

Murdoch has had enough. His relationship with Trump has always been stormy, but now that Trump has gone all in on Musk, Murdoch feels no pull there.

Judging from the WSJ piece about the dumbest trade war ever and this segment, it seems that Fox will probably continue to lean into all the culture war stuff while trying to destroy the Musk/Trump populist/authoritarianism movement if it can.

I can't believe there are any billionaires who are on board this train wreck. Hey billionaires, you're the most privileged people on the planet. You have little to gain from blowing up the government, and a lot to lose. What do you think is going to happen to your net worth if Trump and his idiots decide not to pay interest on the debt?

It’s not just MAGA you should be directing your ire at. They are who they’ve always been: Trump bootlickers who believe every move he makes is brilliant.

You should be pissed at the everyday independent voters who were so stupid in their short-sighted need to punish the current administration for inflation, that they voted for the guy whose ego and economic policies would actually make it worse.

Just shows that the economy wasn't the drive they claimed it to be.

That Costco is always insane, it's just hard to get in an out.

The Costco near me is always insane, so I don't know if there is a real difference.

Based on the support of a certain orange turd, Costco is my primary shopping stop now. I've dropped my sams membership, dropped my prime membership, stopped shopping at walmart, target, and any other company that caved and eliminated their Diversity programs.

I read that Michigan State canceled Chinese New Year celebrations because they were worried it might be DEI, really? Grow some damn balls.
