For every video and picture you can post depicting violence that day, the other side can post videos and pictures showing people in the Capitol simply walking around between the rope lines. Or, officers welcoming them into the building. No picture, or group of pictures, paints a definitive picture of what occurred that day.

I'm not on any high horse. I'm rightfully criticizing the decision to pardon the people who committed violent assault upon police officers. Just handwaving it away as "oops! Trump got impatient!" is weak. You can't claim to be the "part of law and order" or the "party of back the blue" with stunts like that. Thankfully, even police unions who endorsed Trump are beginning to wise up to the fact that "back the blue" was always a lie from Trump and the Republicans.
I highly doubt law enforcement unions, LEO union leadership, or law enforcement rank-and-file officers will ever “turn” on Trump, the GOP, or MAGA.

The most effective phrase / advertisement in the election was the one about "dems are for they / them, trump is for you. This just further drives that point home. The fact that all but 2 dems in the house voted against it reinforces that message. So great politics and the dems would do the same. If you are saying the dems wouldn't take the opportunity to brand the pubs in a negative light then that is something we would just have to disagree over.
