I have no idea what he will do or won’t do. But regulation of the things that we all ingest every day seems like a pretty noble cause for government to take on to me. I think it’s something that would have a lot of bipartisan support.

It’s totally possible to prefer toxic ingredients be removed from food and yet still be pro personal freedom.
How when trump and Kennedy want to gut the FDA?

Almost like he hasn’t been paying attention and/or is just being dishonest.
Biggest question to me is what defines toxic. Vitamin A is toxic in certain amounts along with a huge number of things we eat right down to the sprouts on potatoes.
Well, rapeseed oil is definitely bad because rape is bad.

That’s not terribly far off rfk jr’s level of analysis.

And if you call it canola, they probably think it's an anal lube.

Damn. It didn’t even take us that long to establish that Canadian Fruit Loops have more than four ingredients, huh?
Where does this bullshit even come from? And what type of an idiot believes it? Canadian Fruit Loops are made in the same factories with the same processes as American Fruit Loops. When I was in New York, I would buy Canadian Corn Flakes on Amazon because they were cheaper. What made them "Canadian"? Metric system and some French language on the box. Identical inside.

We've reached a point in our society where simple recognition of obvious reality is somehow elitist. Like, you do not need a college education or even a high school education to know that Fruit Loops are the same everywhere, at least in North America. I have no idea if there are Fruit Loops sold elsewhere.

It's also fucking hilarious that the vehicle being used to complain about unhealthy foods is sugared breakfast cereal. Take out whatever preservative you want, and you still have sugared puffed whatever-the-fuck.

In the quick glance I did, it looked the primary difference in the cereals was the American one allows artificial coloring.

This crap is all over social media.

I've watched multiple where they say that ingredients in cereal are toxic. They don't understand that the quantities in cereal one would need to eat a million boxes to ingest enough to die.

People die every year from water intoxication.

True. Guess Kennedy will have to ban water as well as fluoride. 😁

I recall a woman several years ago trying to win a Wii game console from a radio contest. The challenge was to drink an extreme amount of water. She did and she died.

I was talking with some people at work, and I was surprised that they didn't realize that one could die from water.

Googled: A 28-year-old contestant, Jennifer Strange, died of water intoxication hours after taking part in the contest. According to contest participants, 17 to 20 contestants took part in the competition in a room at KDND's studios.

More big brain stuff floating around in the conservative social media bubble.

Yeah, let's dismiss what the actual doctor has to say and embrace the opinions of a conspiracy theory nut job with no formal medical training because he takes testosterone and lifts weights.

You mean, has people photoshop his head onto the body of the Brawny paper towel man?

I can picture President Big Mac leading the charge for healthier eating in the USA.

Hey, let's go easy on the roided out allegation. RFK, Jr and I were born the same year. From the next down, that's pretty much what all 70 year old men think they look like.

ETA: All kidding aside, I would not want my arms to look like RFK, Jr's arms if, as part of the deal, my testicles had to also look like his. Why even look like that if all you can do with it is, look like that?

TikTok is the bane of any doctors existence. The amount of people that think they know stuff while believing in true idiocy is beyond belief. The goal is to make sure they aren’t harming themselves with any of that crap while explaining the evidence behind it (which is none)

Next step is to fix why our Fruit Loops have like 19 ingredients in them and Canada’s Fruit Loops have like 4.
For the record, the ingredient list for Fruit Loops sold in Canada is listed below. The only difference is the fruit juices used for coloring. The US version uses artificial color. This is directly from the Kellogg’s website.

Sugars (sugar, maltodextrin), Whole grain corn flour, Wheat flour, Whole grain oat flour, Degerminated corn flour, Corn bran, Oat hull fibre, Hydrogenated coconut and vegetable oil, Salt, Concentrated carrot juice (for colour), Anthocyanin, Annatto, Turmeric, Natural flavour, Concentrated watermelon juice (for colour), Concentrated blueberry juice (for colour), Concentrated huito juice (for colour), Stevia leaf extract, Vitamins and minerals: Iron, Niacinamide, Zinc oxide, Thiamine hydrochloride, D-calcium pantothenate, Cholecalciferol (vitamin D3), Pyridoxine hydrochloride, Folic acid”
