Drummer Charlie Watts was born June 2, 1941. This is drumming perfection.

In high school we had a talent show, and a band sang this song. The lead singer went on to play in Don Williams' band and wrote a hit song " Tulsa Time " which was an ACM Award winner later covered by Eric Clapton. Here is a good version
nice guitar work for those three guys
I always liked this Gladys Night cover.

Theres not too many songs as pretty as or as sad as Casimir Polaski Day by Sufjan Stevens
Don't know how you will feel about this but that song came out 20 years agoAs an old codger, thank you for reminding me that there is still some good music being put out there
Paul sent me the picture. And actually he did leave Vance County after high school. He went to college at both Chowan and Campbell.Just stop it
How in the world did you find that picture ? Paul Daeke was a damn good guitarist but among us he was known as the laziest man in Henderson. For so many years after high school he did not travel outside Vance County![]()
Same here. My best friends are from Henderson. Who knows ? Maybe we were friends back in the dayPaul sent me the picture. And actually he did leave Vance County after high school. He went to college at both Chowan and Campbell.
I'm from Rocky Mount and moved to Henderson after high school to be a DJ at WIZS and that's how I met all those guys. Most the best friends I've ever had were from Henderson.
